Info
Luca Finkl (*1999 in Augsburg) is a photographer currently based in Bielefeld, Germany.
His work explores political, social, and memory-related questions that materialize in spatial structures, everyday surfaces, and narratives—both personal and collective.
At the heart of his practice lies a long-term, research-driven engagement with themes such as power, belonging, and exclusion, with the visual serving as a means of condensation and contextualization. In this framework photography functions not merely as documentation,
but as a cartographic method—mapping and revealing the structures of contested realities.
He is a member of Artists Unlimited e.V. and Freelens e.V., currently studies photography and visual media at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld and does freelance work for Kunstverein Bielefeld.
